Beautiful Stuff!

This one is pictured in theknot.com

I wish I'd had the presence of mind to take a picture of Heather's bouquet at her wedding in Lafayette Square. on December 21st.  It was completely made of broaches!  So beautiful!  I've done a lot of weddings but have never seen a bouquet like hers.

The picture above is not Heather's but is a very similar one made by Lionsgate Designs

I WANT this dress!  Someone, hurry up and marry me so I can have it!
Maybe if I throw a really great Halloween party next year, I can dress up as a bride.

New Beginnings

Savannah's first day of winter was chilly and windy but the sunshine was beautiful.  How can you not love the palms and poinsettias at the Hamilton-Turner Inn here on Lafayette Square.

Lafayette square, with the cathedral as a backdrop, is a beautiful spot for weddings.   Be sure to take into consideration time of day and time of year. Traffic around the square is quite noisy on the weekends and of course, the water in the fountain is dyed green in March for St. Patrick's day.

The 'End of the World as We Know It' wedding in Lafayette Square was sweet and simple which made it such a pleasure to be a part of.

Best wishes to Heather and Carl as they begin their new world.

End of the World Wedding

I'm delighted to be playing for an 'End of the World as We Know It' wedding. Today is a fine new beginning, not only for couples tying the knot on this day, but for all of us.
The wedding will be held outdoors at beautiful Lafayette Square in downtown Savannah, Georgia.

I love the music selected by the bride and groom:  Moondance for the groom, Moon River for his bride, and All Shook Up as their recessional.

It's going to be a great day!  Celebrate the End of the World by starting a fresh, new day, a fresh new way!  Inspiration by Carlos Santana!

Umbrella Love

Diligently working

Hmmmm.......I should be practicing!  Instead....

I'm falling in love with UMBRELLAS!
I stumbled across these cute umbrellas on Amazon.com  then got swooped into checking out all kinds of great wedding ideas.
You may think of umbrellas as inclement weather necessities, but when they match your wedding theme, suddenly you’ve got accessories. The Frankford golf umbrella is big enough for two people to stand under and since you've spent all that time on hair and makeup you still want be seen even if it's raining!  Don't let a little rain dampen your wedding plans! These great umbrellas are perfect for wedding day back up plans or gifts.

What about cake toppers?
Are you partial to Monograms and Rhinestones or LLadro?
